with hopes and prayers

Hello everyone,

Happiness and hope from the cherry blossoms and blue sky, photographed last year

I'm sure you've all heard about the earthquake in Northern Japan. I am really at a loss of words. My heart and deepest prayers goes out to all the people affected, and my deepest gratitude to everyone who are working day and night to rescue people, to restore power...
Japan is still facing a lot of troubles, but I believe that we have to keep our chins up and keep on moving forward.
Please please keep Japan in your thoughts and support Japan in any way you can.

P.S. Thank you so much for the comments concerning my safety, I am fine! Your comments always mean so much to me.

thank God that not all of Japan is destroyed, but my heart goes out to those in devastation/experiencing loss. my friend's family lived in fukushima, but they were able to evacuate--their house is destroyed but they are fine.

glad, you're fine.

it's just awful. how is the situation where you live?

i still have a flight to tokyo for April 1st. and it breaks my heart, that i will have to cancel it - it's not that i'm scared to fly. but my family (near tokyo - thank god, they're fine, too) really don't want me to come and would be very upset if i didn't listen. i hope that the situation doesn't get worse (i mean how worse can it get - it's already horrible).

i keep on thinking of you and the people in japan. please stay strong.

xoxoxo kazuko
